The company that is now Robert Roberts was founded in 1843. At this time Baker Wardell was an independent tea blender. In 1971 Baker Wardell acquired the Robert Roberts coffee business. From here we saw the development of United Biscuits nuts & snacks sales and marketing in 1976.
It was not until 1988 that the business truly diversified with the acquisition of Woodford Bourne and then in 2008, the merge with Findlater Grants, our wine division became Findlater Wine & Spirit Group.
